Private or semi-private sessions are great and provide a more individual focus on your specific needs. They are ideal for injury recovery, special circumstances, and should be easy to book. First, you need to look at the instructors who offer these sessions, choose one, and reach out on this website.
You can read about each instructor by clicking on the “Instructor” tab. You can see their pricing and contact them through the tab that says “Private Training” . This allows you to email them.
If, for some reason, you don’t get a response back, check your “junk” mail to make sure it wasn’t accidentally put there. If you don’t see a response in the junk mail, text me at 208-269-0381 so I can get answers for you!
I would say this can easily be determined by attending a group “Foundation Class”. You would have a relaxed setting to see the studio, try a few things, and then talk to me afterwards! You could also at specific feedback by reaching out to one of the instructors. We are happy to help!
Pilates is great for bringing balance back to your body after an injury. You may consider the private route until your instructor feels that you are ready for the group training. We just ask that you are “cleared” and have the ‘OK” from your medical professionals before you start pilates. I often work with people and their physical therapists to coordinate sessions and progress.
Honestly, I love both. I think most people have to consider the cost and the benefits. I completely understand that not everyone can do the “Ideal”.
The ideal scenario would include a private each week, where you can really get the special attention and focus on your specific needs. Then fill in the other workouts in a group setting to reduce the cost while getting maximum benefits of training often.
If the “Ideal” isn’t possible, no problem. Just make your healthy lifestyle a priority and do some form of pilates. You will benefit either way!
